OAC Block Party 4th Annual

Description:

This will be huge… last year 1200 attend. “NightShift Jazz” will be there 19 members strong. We feature Jazz in all it’s glory, from classic 40’s & 50’s songs to todays top artists spiced with Blues, Funk & Latin Jazz. There also will be 3 other bands playing and many other feature acts. This is a family block party with lots and lots entertainment for kids & adults. This year is “GREEN UP YOU LIFE”! Environmentally Friendly Lifestyle and we also are hooking up with the David Suzuki Foundation

Looks likes that we are up.

From the three gigs that popped up… everyone, from what I heard, enjoyed the music and the outdoors. Even though it was not a hot summer, at least it did not rain during those outdoor gigs… There are a few small gigs that are not going to be posted on this site but our musical director will have some trick in his sleeve that will require our services during the summer.

Just expect a post sometime in August to be back in the fray of the musical creativity of the band.

Otherwise… y’all have a great summer.

There are a lot of things that are going on with the days leading up to June; now has a few gigs after June at least for the time being. This admin will post what gigs is prudent for those months. Check on required pages to determine the required times and songlist for those gigs; soon as it is posted.

Just keep practicing for the week… until the next announcement…

We are still here… it seems that most of the people are here and we can start the show. Well, not quite… to the people who joined, we welcome you to the band and hope that we can catch up to you… For the returning members, welcome back from whense you came and continue to blow in the hearts of many and move their hearts to a few… (It is the heat)

We do have a lot of ground to cover and have a few venues to book… there is some confirmation on certain venues but NOT to write down just yet. Until then… keep practicing and moving.
